Rotherham United fan and World Cup Referee, Howard Webb will be the man in charge of our first game at the New York Stadium.

The Millers are set to play neighbours Barnsley on Saturday, 21st July in a friendly at the new stadium and Howard had asked, depending on his workload, to be the man in the middle for that first game.

At this moment Howard is in Warsaw to officiate in his second European Championship, Euro 2012.

The game against Barnsley will have a restricted capacity of 6,000 as, with a new ground, it has to be played to a half-capacity stadium.
