Rotherham United left-back Mason Warren has signed a new two year deal with the Millers

Coming through the Rotherham Academy Warren has yet to make a first team appearance but that would with his new deal in the bag it would indicate that it will be something that will happen sooner rather than later.

‘I’m pleased to have signed,’the nineteen year old told the Official Site, ‘and glad that I’ve shown enough to be given a two year contract.’

Mason has had loan spells with with Sheffield FC and Harrogate Town and got Town’s Man of the Month in February.

‘Going out on loan has definitely benefitted me,’ Mason carried on. ‘Playing men`s football is what every young player needs, and I feel it`s really brought me on over the last few months.

‘Now the manager has told me I need to come back flying in pre-season.’
