Rotherham United Manager Neil Warnock was pleased with Greg Halford`s goal this evening that gave the Millers a point against West Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town.

Halford`s goal opened the scoring on ten minutes for the Millers at the New York Stadium but Nahki Wells equalised twelve minutes later to score his first ever goal against Rotherham.

‘I thought Greg did well tonight,` the Millers Boss told Radio Sheffield.

‘He played a couple of bad balls in the second half which the crowd let him know about but I told him not to worry about it.`

Asked about the only change to the team from Saturday`s goalless draw with Nottingham Forest which was Danny Ward coming in for Leon Best, the Gaffer said, ‘Besty`s had a problem with a hernia and it`s just a bit inflamed.

‘And Wardy has been busting a gut to get in and I thought he did alright. And young Wardy (Grant Ward) came through as well because it was a difficult game for him tonight.’

I also thought ‘young Wardy’ had a great game too. He is very persistent and although it doesn’t always come off he doesn’t let it worry him and he goes again.
