Rotherham United Manager Neil Warnock wasn`t impressed with Bristol City`s Manager Lee Johnson`s comments before last nights game.

‘I didn`t have to do a team talk,` the Millers Boss told Radio Sheffield after the one-one draw away at Ashton Gate last night. ‘I think Lee Johnson did it for me.

‘When I read his comments in the newspaper I thought it was a disgrace what he said.

‘I know he`s only a young manager but he shouldn`t be saying things like ‘we have to make sure we win whether we do it through aggression, good football or intimidation we have to make sure we do it. It`s a massive game and we need every fan to stick with us and intimidate the other side`.

‘That`s almost inciting the crowd. And it`s out of order.

‘But, I suppose, like father like son.`

Those of us there actually commented that the crowd were very hostile last night and even walking back to the coaches among the City fans we were getting a bit of abuse hurled at us plus, I understand, there were comments made on social media sites.

I know they don`t like Neil Warnock even though he did blow kisses to them at the end of the game last night as he left the pitch!
