Rotherham United Manager Neil Warnock still wouldn’t be drawn on where he will be starting the 2016/17 campaign.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield the Millers Boss said, ‘I’ve spoken to the Chairman briefly this week but we haven’t had a long time to talk.

‘We will be meeting up next week to talk though not just about me it will be about the training ground and everything else. There’s a lot needs doing in the summer.

‘To be in the Championship we need to rectify the training ground so we can compete at grounds like this.

‘We need so much over the next few weeks it’s going to be one hell of a job.

‘I think we need a lot of help in the summer. We need to get a number of players in in key areas and then look to the future whatever happens.’

The travelling fans this afternoon at the KC Stadium left Neil in no doubt as to what they want by singing ‘Please Don’t Go’ to him when he came over to them at the end of the game.

‘The fans have been fantastic,’ the Gaffer said. ‘I can’t ever recall being called a legend before when my team were losing five-one! I’m more used to getting pelted!

‘If I’m honest I feel immensely proud in what I’ve achieved. And our fans aren’t daft they know what we’ve done is a miracle. It’s been a marvellous achievement and not just by myself but the players, Kevin (Blackwell), Ronnie (Jepson) and all the staff and the fans have just been fantastic.’
