Rotherham United Manager Neil Warnock talked to MillersPlayer about the unbeaen run his side has gone on to ensure they start next season in the Championship.

‘The smaller clubs, like us, in the Championship have to be organised,’ the Millers Boss said, ‘because you know you are going to get tested every week.

‘Tomorrow they (Blackburn) have Danny Graham who is one of the best srikers in the league so we are going to have to be on our toes but it’ like that every week with top players playing against us.’

Asking how it felt to know they’d survived and on their own terms without having to get help from clubs around them, the Gaffer said, ‘I didn’t know what was happening at MK Dons until we were up to about the eighty minutes mark.

‘It’s an achievement to get eleven games undefeated at Rotherham because I think there’s only two clubs in the division that’s done that this year. And to compare it to a run from the 1950’s well when I’ve long gone they’ll remember it saying ‘can you remember the Warnock days’.

‘And the Chairman asked me to get survival with two games to go to save his heart!

‘It was a difficult task but everybody’s pulled together. The fans have played their part and we’ve enjoyed it.’
