RUFC – Warney Trying To Look Forward To Play-Offs

|

Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne says that whichever team the Millers play in the play-offs will be a good team.

‘If you are going to get promoted it doesn’t matter if you play the next best team home and away or at Wembley, you’ve still got to beat them,’ the Millers Boss told iFOLLOW.

‘When asked you do I want to play then geographically Scunthorpe are better, but I’m not saying they are a weaker team. When I watched them the other night I was really impressed with them and it seems that they’ve got all their key players back.

‘Whichever team we get it’s going to be an absolute war home and away. A hundred and eighty minutes of pure death.

‘I’m trying to go into it looking forward to it with a smiley face.

‘The lads have worked really hard since the end of June and now nearly into our eleventh month it would be good to finish off the way we started.’

Ed Note – Well, I don’t think he means how we started by losing away at Fleetwood but how we started the season in general! Well, I hope that’s what he meant!
