Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne says he understand if there are some players who think their careers are away from the New York Stadium in January.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield the Millers Boss said, ‘Every player I’ve got whose been playing regularly in my team for the past ten weeks I want at the club. But I understand that if certain players think their careers go elsewhere then that’s the way football is.

‘There will be players who leave in January and we’ll try and improve the side then and again in the summer.

‘Eventually I think we’ll get to a side that’s really competitive in every game. We’re not that far off that but at the moment our points tally isn’t as high as I’d like.’

Whether he means they will leave for permanent contracts elsewhere or on loan to get game time we will have to wait and see.
