Rotherham United’s caretaker Manager Paul Warne says it won’t be easy for the Millers to overcome the ten point deficit they find themselves in but it has to be believable.

‘If it hadn’t been believable you wouldn’t have seen the performance you did on Saturday,’ Warney told Radio Sheffield.

‘I still think the lads believe they can do it. If we were to go on a specifically good run at home and win games and the three teams above us have a bad spell like we’ve had then, yes, I believe it’s achievable. But it will obviously be more believable and more achievable the more points we pick up.

‘I said, at the turn of the year if the gap is no more than eight points and with recruitment in January and probably strengthening a couple of our weaker areas then eight points isn’t that unbelievable.

‘And I do think we can win games at home especially if we play the way I think we should play. If that’s going to be enough I don’t know.

‘But sitting here before the Fulham game I think this team can collect enough points.’

If it’s not believable then I think the fans, the players and the management would just stop bothering and as Warney says we didn’t see that on Saturday.
