Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne has told the fans that he will be doing his best to keep striker Kieffer Moore.

The Millers top scorer, Kieffer, is on loan until the end of the season from Ipswich – but, as Rotherham fans, we have seen the until the end of the season suddenly end in January with players who have been doing well before – Izzy Brown for instance.

So when Radio Sheffield put the question ‘do you have a contingency plan if Kieffer Moore returns to Ipswich’ Warney said, ‘Yes.

‘Obviously if we put all our eggs in the Kieffer Moore basket and something happened tomorrow then we’re snookered. So, realistically, we’ll earmark to bring in two strikers of similar ilk, at the moment that’s Kieffer plus one because of what happened to Proctor, or if Kieffer leaves, but I don’t think that will happen. If it does then we’d probably have to bring two in.

‘We’ve got a list that we are going through now. And we aren’t trying to replace Kieffer but to strengthen up the top of the pitch.’
