Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne told iFOLLOW that although he was obviously disappointed with the result at the Stadium:MK last night he had no complaints.

Speaking after the three-two loss against MK Dons, Warney said, ‘We started the game well and took a deserved lead. Then we let them back in and twenty minutes of madness sent us in at half-time losing two-one.

‘Their ‘keeper made a great save with twenty minutes to go (from Semi Ajayi) and the subs (Jon Taylor, Jerry Yates and Matty Palmer) all had a positive impact. Tayls came on and gave us energy, Jerry ran in behind and Palmer was good when he came on, being calm on the ball.

‘It went three-one and then we got another goal back and I thought we were throwing the kitchen sink at it for the final twenty minutes but were probably too far away from the goal.

‘I thought we ended the first half OK and started the second half well. We had a bad spell in the first hard that killed us but I thought our second half performance credited us getting a point.

‘It was a disappointing result.

‘We’ve lost the last two games by one goal to two teams fighting for their lives and we need to get back to winning ways quickly. ‘
