Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne spoke about the January Transfer Window today telling iFOLLOW that, after today’s one-all draw away at Oldham, it was obvious that he needs new bodies in the middle of the pitch.

‘I need to get something in the middle of the pitch and maybe something else up top,’ said the Millers Boss.

‘We are trying to get midfielders in, we’ve been trying for a few weeks and if I can get a striker with real place, with real threat on the shoulder then I’ll try.

‘It was good to give Smithy (Michael Smith) a run-out today although obviously we need to polish him up. It would have been nice for him to get a goal. I don’t understand why his were always fouls but the other way with (Craig) Davis it wasn’t fouls. I told the Fourth Official I thought it was a bit harsh.

‘It’s back to the office job now trying to get people in and with any luck come game time next week I’ll have at least one through the door but it wouldn’t be January without a stick and a twist.

‘I’ve had interest in a few of my players which doesn’t surprise me. But, while I’ve got this group together I’ll keep them unless I bring someone in then one or two might go out. But I’m happy with what I’ve got and I’ve just got to try and improve on it.’
