Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne told iFOLLOW that he expects his team to bounce back after Easter Monday’s defeat away at Charlton.

‘We were on the front foot at the start of the game and on another day we could have gone two up,’ the Millers Boss said, ‘so to give the goal away in the manner we did was hugely disappointing.

‘At one-nil I told the lads at half-time that they were in a pretty good place, playing well but then the massive issue I had was to concede off a set-piece. Then they got a third and although we pulled one back it wasn’t enough.

‘On the day, in both boxes, I didn’t think we were better than them. They defended our set-pieces really well and got on the end of their’s at the other end.

‘It’s not through lack of effort it’s just disappointing that concentration at certain times of the game was lacking.’

I think that the lack of concentration, if only for a minute, has been our undoing a few times this season. I don’t know if players take their eye off the ball or just forget, for an instance, what they are there for, but I have noticed a few times that, especially n defence, things have been a bit lackadaisical.
