Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne said the win against Fleetwood last weekend was crucial.

‘We especially need to win our home games,’ the Millers Boss told iFOLLOW, ‘and pick up the points to try and stabilise ourselves into a play-off position.

‘The lads dealt with the early disappointment well and got themselves back in the game but, unfortunately, we conceded again so to come out of it with a home win is great for everyone.

‘They’d been on a good run and it was always going to be a tough game. We didn’t get opened up in general play and had a lot of the ball against a very good Fleetwood side.

‘They didn’t bring a lot of fans so our fans didn’t really have anyone to sing against and I felt the atmosphere was a bit tense.’

Warney’s second in command Richie Barker carried on, ‘And they won again on Tuesday, which is five wins out of six for them to that makes our result even stronger.’
