Rotherham United lost their unbeaten record at Don Valley yesterday to Wycombe Wanderers in a game that had seven goals and two penalties.

With Millers Manager, Ronnie Moore saying he thought his side deserved something out of the game, the Chairboys Manager, Gary Waddock said ‘it was value for money.`

Speaking to WycombePlayer after their four-three win, Waddock said, ‘What a game! There were some fantastic goals and some decisions that had to be made and it was a thoroughly entertaining game.

‘To come away from home to an arena like this where Rotherham are very strong and to get three points just shows what the players are made of. And the manor we played after going two goals up then being pegged back, we had to show our other side as well and they stuck in a showed determination. Rotherham are excellent here and their record stands up to that so it was a fantastic result for us.`

Asked about the penalties, Waddock laughed, ‘Ours was a stonewall there`s wasn`t! No, I don`t know, I`ll have to have another look at it. The lads were saying there`s wasn`t and ours was probably soft as well but the referees have a hard enough job so I`m not going to start pointing fingers.`

What do you think? Were either of the pens actually penalties? Come and tell us here on Vital Rotherham and share your views
