Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne said his team deserved all three points after Saturday’s win over Wimbledon.

Meanwhile Wimbledon Boss Neal Ardley thought it was ‘an even game’ for the first hour or so.

Speaking to the Official Site after the Millers two-nil win, the Dons’ Manager said, ‘I cannot ask for any more from the boys and I think the only thing that sticks a little bit in our throats is how we started the game

‘Rotherham have a good tempo about them, cause you problems, get at you and they have strength and energy. They had chances on the break, particularly in the second-half but we certainly had some good chances to equalise..

‘When we stick together, players and staff, and we execute what we are trying to do, we are a very good team, but for twenty to twenty-five minutes we did not quite do that and found ourselves behind. It was an even game for sixty-five minutes.

‘We had three really good chances in the second-half and if we had scored one, we could be sitting here with something in the bag.’
