Rotherham United Manager Neil Warnock was obviously disappointed after his team lost five-one at Hull on Saturday after being one-up.

But Tigers Manager Steve Bruce said it was the best result for his side going into the play-offs.

Speaking to Tigers Player the Hull Boss said, ‘I think it was arguably one of our best performances and it lets hope we can repeat that performance in the play-offs.

‘We had an energy and freshness about us that Rotherham found difficult especially in the first half.

‘We’ve got forward thinking players who can all chip in with goals.

‘We’re always saying it’s nice to have a bit of momentum and it was good to see today. We really looked a very good side.

‘We responded to falling behind in the right way and with big play-off games coming up we wanted to finish on a high.’
