Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans said that Saturday’s performance by his team was the worst any side had ever given him as a manager.

But, of course, the Dagenham and Redbridge Management team of John Still and Terry Harris were delighted with the five-nil win.

Speaking after the game Assistant Manager Terry Harris told DaggersPlayer, ‘It was nearly a complete performance and from start to finish we had some fantastic performances all round.

‘Rotherham are a big side and they get balls up to the front two and I thought we handled them very well. Chris Lewington pulled off a good save in the first ten or fifteen minutes, which people might forget.

‘But it’s been coming for a while and everyone played their part today, did what we asked of them and we got our just rewards.’
