Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne was pleased with the three points on Saturday at home to Bury but thought his side could have won by more.

Bury Manager Lee Clark said that his players were like boxers at the New York Stadium.

‘It’s a tough period for us all,’ the Shakers Boss said after the three-two defeat.

‘It’s taking a set back before we start playing without fear,’ Clark said after the game on iFOLLOW. ‘We are going to have to fight our way out and have players who are going to play without the fear factor.

‘We get back in the game and go to one-one then it’s two-one then two-two. But it’s like a boxer and we are letting them give us a whack before we respond.

‘At two-two our wide players, Alex Dobre and Harry Bunn, had a spell where they were looking exciting but then we stop doing in and drop too deep and inviting the pressure.

‘But it looked to me that we were happy to settle for the point when we should be going for the jugular. Why I don’t know because we had our exciting players on. We had wingers who were beating full-backs every time and running in and getting chances.’
