RUFC – View From The Opposition – Blackpool

|

Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne said the one-nil home win over Blackpool in the sunshine was a nice way to finish the season.

Meanwhile Blackpool Manager Gary Bowyer wasn’t so impressed saying his team should have taken something from the game.

Speaking to Blackpool’s Official Site, the former Rotherham player said, ‘We were abysmal in the first half but with the chances we had in the second half we really should be taking something from the game.

‘You’ve had Nathan Delfouneso’s chance, you’ve had Ollie Turton’s chance at the death, and Mark Cullen’s adamant that he should have had a penalty. And I think Chris only had one save to make.

‘Those last twenty minutes sums up our season. I’m really disappointed.’

‘I want to mention our supporters who were magnificent today and never shut up.’
