Rotherham United Manager Neil Warnock was ‘disappointed’ not to be going into the last game of the season twelve games without defeat after his team lost one-nil at home to Blackburn Rovers.

Meanwhile departing Rovers Manager Paul Lambert said that the travelling fans and his players ‘bounced’ off each other on Saturday.

Speaking to Lancashire Sport Lambert, who announced last week that he was leaving Ewood Park at the end of the season said,’The away fans were absolutely brilliant. I can only thank them for their support since I walked in the door. They were the only fans heard all afternoon.

‘I thought we were excellent today. The players were great, the system was great. I thought the back lads were brilliant against a difficult team who are on a good roll.

‘And we could have scored four or five.

‘This is a brilliant club that needs a bit of help.’
