Rotherham United defender Will Vaulks says that the game against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday is ‘a massive game.’

‘We’ve not given the fans much to cheer about this season so we’ll be working hard to try and give them what they deserve,’ the twenty-three year old told David Beddows The Rotherham Advertiser.

‘We won’t give up, especially with Paul Warne in charge. That’s his mantra ‘don’t ever give up’ and I think you saw that at Fulham.

‘Three points on Saturday will be massive for the club which will hopefully give us a spur to be good around Christmas.’

Saying that he thinks the Millers have a meaner streak about them at the moment, Will said, ‘Its definitely getting better. We’ve been changing personnel a lot with different Managers but what other choice do you give Managers if you’re not winning?

‘We are defending better and not making really bad individual errors which we were at the start of the season.

‘Hopefully now we can get some solidarity in the team which, personally, I think would help.’
