RUFC – Vaulks, Emmanuel and Towell Take Honours

|

Rotherham United have named Will Vaulks as their Player of the Year.

Joining the Millers in July 2016 the now twenty-four year old has gone on to play ninety times (we imagine with more to come) in a Rotherham shirt scoring seven goals, six of those coming this season and has often taken over the captains armband when needed.

Will is also known for his work with Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and was also named the Community Player of the Year for that and his work with the Community Sports Trust and he was also named as Players’ Player of the Year.

Well Done, Will!

Other accolades went to on loan defender Josh Emmanuel who won the Young Player of the Year award and Richie Towell whose goal against Northampton was named ‘Goal of the Season’.

Josh joined the Millers in the summer on a season long loan from Ipswich Town and has made thirty-three appearances this summer.

Midfielder Richie is also on a season long loan from Brighton and Hove Albion and has found the net four times in forty-one appearances.

Well Done All!
