Rotherham United defender, Marc Joseph, is going to be out of action for at least six weeks we heard this week, after a mystery illness which left him weak and unable to gain weight.

Manager, Mark Robins, has said today that, at last, the doctors have got to the bottom of it and it is a deep seated kidney infection and he is having treatment, in hospital for it.

Robins told MillersWorld after the Millers three-two win over Mansfield today that,’we have a great spirit at this club and today, Marc Joseph epitamised that.

‘He discharged himself from hospital where he is on a drip, came and watched the match and then went back to hospital and back on his drip.

‘It’s great to see him back on his feet, he’s been under the weather since he joined us in July and has been playing with this illness. We were worried about him but it’s good to know that he’s on his way back.’
