Rotherham United goalkeeper, Rhys Taylor says he is very sad to see Andy Scott go.

Speaking to The Advertiser the Welsh Under 21 shot stopper said, ‘I`m especially sad to see Andy go because he brought me here. Managers just don`t get the time and are expected to get results straight away and I think it was a bit harsh. But, the Chairman wants to move forward and, at the end of the day, it`s his club and his decision.

‘It`s the same at every other club. No-one wants to stay still but I think you need a bit of consistency and you need a manager to be in place now who you are going to keep. OK, you might not get the results you want but success doesn`t happen over night.`

Speaking about Andy Scott, Taylor, who is on loan from Chelsea, said, ‘He worked harder than anyone. He was first in and last out. The preparation that went into games was unbelievable. But, he`s gone now and we`ve got to keep plugging away. He is a young manager and he has a bright future ahead of him and I`m sure he`ll get another job higher up.`
