Rotherham United look resigned to losing striker Ryan Taylor with the favourites to sign him being Millwall.

Taylor, who came through the Youth ranks with Rotherham is out of contract but, being under twenty-four, can move on for a fee. If a fee can`t be agreed then it will go to a tribunal.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Chief Operating Officer, Paul Douglas said, ‘We have had cash offers for Ryan from Championship clubs but we haven`t had one that matches our valuation.

‘But, despite the fact that we have made him a good offer, we are reaching the conclusion that he will almost certainly be playing for someone else next season.`

Ryan scored twelve goals in thirty-seven appearances for the Millers last season.
