Rotherham United have extended the loan of striker Liam Henderson from Watford until the end of the season.

Speaking to MillersPlayer, the twenty-one year old said, ‘It’s happy days and hopefully at the end of the season I can finish up with a promotion.

‘I came here to play regular football and hopefully that will continue and I’m happy to fill in where the gaffer wants me to play and help the team. I think my performances have been good enough but I’d like to add a couple of goals to my game.

‘I scored for the Reserves on Wednesday night. Warney knocked the ball in and I’ve just spun and put it in the bottom corner but it didn’t mean anything at the end of the night when we lost so it was alright on a personal level but not on a team level.’

Liam came off the subs bench in the five-nil loss to Chesterfield last night but, on eighty-one minutes, the damage, in my eyes, was already irreparable.
