RUFC – Striker Excited With The Thoughts Of The Play-Offs

|

Rotherham United striker David Ball says he’s excited to be in the Play-Offs.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield the twenty-eight year old said, ‘The lads are all excited and want to get down to business.

‘We’ve taken a bit of form into the play-offs and we’ve got goals in the team and it helped getting the win on Saturday. But it really comes down now to these next two games and who performs best on the day.

‘It’s been a great environment to work in which has been key to getting where we have. I think Paul Warne is fantastic the way he does things. I actually signed for Rotherham over a ‘phone call without actually meeting him. Over that ‘phone call I wanted to play for him straight away which shows what type of character he is.

‘Whoever the Gaffer gives the shirt to on Saturday will give one hundred per cent and be fighting for him. As a group we go out and play for him and we’ve enough quality in this group for their to be no reason not to be successful.

‘This is the best dressing room I’ve worked in. We’re all friends, our children know each others children and our partners know each others partners. It’s a real togetherness which goes down to the staff for recruiting right in the summer.

Asked about getting to Wembley, Bally said, ‘We’ve got a great chance. For the whole club to get back into the Championship will be fantastic.’
