Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart has told the Official Site that the club are looking for someone to take over as manager who has an impressive CV.

The club have had lots of interest in the post made vacant when Mark Robins moved to Barnsley and Mr Stewart says he will take his time and not be rushed into getting someone in.

‘We are looking for someone with plenty of hunger and ambition and someone who can take us to the next stage of the three-year plan – up to the Championship.

‘Amongst the applications we’ve received have been some instantly recognisable names and a number of high profile candidates. Myself and the directors are sifting through the CV’s and doing our due diligence on every single one. We believe this approach will ensure we get the right man.’
