Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott says his team aren`t punishing teams and need to start doing that sooner rather than later.

Speaking to MillersPlayer, Scott was still rueing the missed chances from Saturday against Crawley, and said, ‘If we`d put the chances away that we had in the first half on Saturday, the game would have been over before it started. And, that`s what you`ve got to do to teams, punish them when you get the chances, which we didn`t do. Then, when there`s only one goal in it it`s vitally important that you get the next goal after half time, and we didn`t do that, and, as a consequence, ended up losing the game. The frustration has gone now but it`s still a disappointment that we didn`t pick up three points.

‘There`s a fine line between being one of the top teams and being one of the pack and, at the moment, we are one of the pack. We aren`t ruthless in what we do defensively and going forward and we aren`t punishing teams when we are playing well. We`re close, but not quite close enough yet. We`ve played well against the top teams but haven`t picked the results up and, as soon as that happens, we`ll be flying into the play-off positions and looking at the top three. But, we`ve got to do it sooner rather than later.`
