Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott has told top scorer, Adam Le Fondre that he has to improve his all round game.

Scott has started Alfie on the bench for two of the three games he has been in charge of and subbed him in the third and told the Football League Official Site, We’ve all got to take responsibility and work together to get the best out of him.

‘We have to identify what he’s got to do better and to help him get seventeen goals before Christmas and seventeen goals after Christmas. If that happens, then you’ve got a player on your hands. He has scored twenty odd goals over the last few seasons and not gone anywhere and there’s a reason for that.

‘If players want to go higher in their careers then they have to improve their game. The better players are looked at for their whole contribution to the team.’
