Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott has resigned himself to the fact that he will be losing both Ryan Taylor and Nicky Law before the start of the season and will be on the look out to replace them.

Having already signed midfielder, Ben Pringle and striker, Gareth Evans, Chief Operating Officer, Paul Douglas confirmed that Scott is still looking at most positions in the team.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Mr Douglas said, ‘Andy Scott is looking at the central defence, the full-back positions, up front and in midfield in general and he`s been talking to players and agents while he`s been on holiday.

‘While it`s always nice to sign players sooner rather than later, he is aware that we now move from a seller`s market to a buyer`s market and as the pre-season build up approaches, players are more willing to sit down and talk about things realistically.

‘At the moment we are talking to a Championship striker and there may be developments on that next week.`
