Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott says that he has some ‘irons in the fire` regarding getting a new goalkeeper in, with Conrad Logan`s loan spell coming to an end last night at Cheltenham.
‘We`re working on it,` Scott said after the loss last night,` and it`s just a matter of whether it will be done in time for Monday or whether it will be later than that.`
Asked by Radio Sheffield if he was hopeful of getting a ‘keeper in, he said, ‘Who knows. But we`ll keep working on it. It depends on players, depends on finances, depends on a lot of factors. Also, to bring a goalkeeper in at the last moment and play is a big ask.
‘But, we`ll assess the situation and we know that Woggy (Andy Warrington) is more than capable of filling in but, it`s clear that we can`t have one goalkeeper, we need two so we will be looking to fill the void.`
