Rotherham United have got a twenty-four hour recall clause on winger, Marcus Marshall who has been on loan with with fellow League Two side Macclesfield Town since January.

‘The recall clause is there to protect us,’ Millers Manager, Andy Scott told MillersPlayer.

‘We’ve got five loans and if we lose anyone we can’t bring another loan player in but we would be able to bring Marcus back to bolster squad. But, if Evo (Gareth Evans) comes through the training then we’ve got everyone fit so being at Macclesfield is a good opportunity for Marcus to keep playing games.

‘He can’t play against us when we play them so, really, it makes sense to keep him there.’

Marcus has appeared in six games for the Silkmen, scoring one goal, which was in his first game for them.
