Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott seems to be thinking of having a smaller squad.

Currently the Millers have twenty-three first team players with another two out on loan but Scott says he would be happy with an even smaller squad.

Speaking to The Football League’s Official Site, Scott said, ‘Squads are getting smaller and the money is getting less. I’m more than happy to have a smaller squad with the ones that are going to do it and maybe that’s the way we’re going to go.

‘A lot of players, not just at this club, think they’re untouchable and are going to earn a fortune for the rest of their lives. That’s not the way it works now and football clubs are feeling the financial implications as much as everyone else.’
