Rotherham United will play Aldershot next Saturday in the first leg of the play-offs and Manager, Ronnie Moore told Radio Sheffield that the performance witnessed today at Hereford was not how he wanted the team to go into the play-offs.

He said he felt sorry for the fans who had had to witness the display at Hereford, which the Millers lost three-nil.

Speaking about getting Aldershot in the play-offs, Moore said, ‘You can`t pick and chose who you get. But we are two good footballing sides and it will be a decent game. The pitch is really good there and you can get the ball down and play.

‘Play-off games are one off games where all the form goes out of the window not about what`s happened in the past or what`s happened today. It will be about rolling your sleeves up, going out at Aldershot and show them what a good side we can be.

‘We`ve got two games now to get to the Promised Land.’
