Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, said that the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy win on Tuesday night over Darlington has put a smile back on people’s faces at the club.

Speaking to The Advertiser, Robins said, ‘It was encouraging to see how well we passed the ball against Darlington and that the confidence is coming back.

‘You know, everyone keeps saying we are going on a bad run. But, don’t forget that one of the losses was against Stoke City. We’ve got our points target and we want to make sure we’re in a healthier position come the 3rd January.

‘Now, we have to make sure we are tuned in for Accrington because, despite a heavy defeat last time out, they are a good side.’
