Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, said that, in the end, he was pleased to get a point against Dagenham and Redbridge last weekend.

‘I thought we did really well to get back against a decent side like Dagenham,’ he told RotherFM. ‘I was disappointed in the second half in terms of conceeding the goal but was pleased, in the end, with the point and that it made it five games without a loss.’

The Millers have to play both Bournemouth and Grimsby in the next league fixtures, two teams below them at the moment and, if it hadn’t been called off yesterday, would have travelled to play bottom placed Luton today and Robins said, ‘The computer has turned up some interesting games for the next couple of weeks and we have to make sure that we are fighting to get above the team that are above us. We also need to make sure that we take points from every game. We had some great results over Christmas and we’re ready for anything that gets thrown at us in the New Year.’
