Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, said that the two-two draw at Don Valley against Rochdale today was ‘a relief, tinged with disappointment, tinged with anger.

He saw his team come back from two goals down to get a point in time added on by referee, Mr Drysdale.

Speaking after the game to Radio Sheffield, the manager said, ‘It took us until the lad got sent off to start playing this afternoon. We were fast asleep. I needed to make some changes but I couldn’t change the whole eleven. I put Drewe Broughton on at half-time and I thought he did well.

‘On balance I thought we had a lot of chances and had we took those chances we would probably have won something like seven-four.

‘When they drop deep we shouldn’t be smashing the ball up like we were. Saying that, we had joy with one or two of the long balls but you have to mix it up.’
