Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, has held a meeting with his staff and players this morning to talk about the seventeen points deduction that the club will start with next season.

Speaking to The Star, Robins said, ‘The fact that it is seventeen points demonstrates the hard work, dedication and foresight of the Chairman (Tony Stewart) to get a plan in place. He hasn’t had a great deal of time to sort out all the issues.

‘People are going to see a different club now and we want to be taken seriously and to be respected again. It had lost that.’

Good news for the manager is that Tony Stewart has said that now everything has been resolved the club can go ahead and sign players.
