Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, is hoping to meet with the Administrator today to see what happens next regarding his playing squad.

With Thursday’s transfer deadline looming and the club in administration, it is a big possibility that one of the ways to get some money into the club is by selling players on.

After the four-one defeat away at Rochdale yesterday, Robins told The Star ‘I have to speak with the Administrator as soon as possible. And then I need to meet with him on a daily basis. Things have moved along and this result could change things. We really need to address things every day.

‘The players want to speak to him as well. There have been talks of deferrals but nothing has been confirmed yet. There’s a lot of uncertainty and we need clarification of what’s happening and this is one of the things that will be on the agenda.

‘There’s a lot of negativity around the place at the moment and everybody has to show mental strength. But, at the end of it all, there is a football club to save.’

Rumours were going round the Millers fans at Rochdale yesterday afternoon that there were a number of scouts watching our players. I really do hope we manage to hang onto our players and Thursday comes and goes with no activity at Millmoor.
