Rotherham United take on Sheffield United tonight at Millmoor in a pre-season friendly

Manager, Mark Robins, told The Star, that Derek Holmes will be available after going off against Barnsley on Saturday

‘He had a bang to the groin and we took him off as a precaution,’ Robins said, ‘but he trained yesterday and will be available for tonight’s game.

‘Danny Harrison, though, will be left out tonight. He has a groin niggle. There is no point risking anything.

‘The draw against Barnsley on Saturday was a good game for us, but Sheffield United may be regarded as a tougher test. After all, they were a premiership team just a few months ago.

‘It will be a tough one for us tonight but a good one too – we will be able to judge just how far we have come on in the last few weeks. There were good signs from the Barnsley game but it is still about building up our fitness. It’s also important that we come through unscathed.’

With a squad of around seventeen available tonight it is likely that all will make an appearance.
