Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, was satisfied with a point today, although he told the Official Site ‘we could have come away with all three or lost all three.’

The Millers twice came back today with goals from Ian Sharps and an own goal against Stockport County.

Robins carried on, ‘They made it difficult for us from the start and we never got near anyone for the first twenty minutes. We were outfought but thankfully, they didn’t finish like they could have done. We rode our luck a little and Andy Warrington had to make a couple of good saves. Once we started to pass the ball around we got back into the game.

‘It was a great delivery from Stephen Brogan for Ian Sharps goal.

‘We were on top in football terms in the second half and could have won the game. We had a clear penalty turned down and a goal disallowed that looked fine to me.

‘In the end it was a fair result and another lesson along the way.

‘But, they need to know what needs to be done when you are defending – they dragged us out a bit and the smallest man on the pitch scored.’
