Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, has signed striker Jamie Clarke until the end of the season but there is a possibility that he could earn himself a longer contract.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, the twenty-year old former Blackburn Rovers player said, ‘Rotherham have given me a chance and it’s up to me to show them what I can do to earn a longer contract. I want to go as far as I can with Rotherham United.’

Robins told The Star, ‘We’ll get a chance to take a look at him while he’ll have the opportunity to show us what he can do.

‘We spoke to one or two people about him and he was recommended and we’ve spoken to him a couple of times too. He played against us recently when he was on loan at Accrington.’
