Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins told Radio Sheffield that he was livid and extremely angry after the performance the team put in today against Accrington Stanley at Millmoor.

‘It was the worst second half performance I’ve seen for a long long time,’ he said, ‘I was embarrassed to be stood on the touchline watching it. That wasn’t my team out there today. We have a lot of thinking to do and a lot of work. If we’re not careful we will be looking over our shoulders at the relegation places.

‘Our quality was poor today and we let them dominate us and there’s enough experience out there not to do that. Out passing was terrible and when we got the chance to score we put it wide and I’m saying the same thing after every game. We should be putting teams like Accrington away. We were rushing things, we stood off people, the movement in the centre just wasn’t there and if players can’t see that then things will have to change.

‘For his first game I thought Joe Widdowson had a solid first half. I brought Pablo Mills back in because I thought we needed some protection at the back.

‘Unfortunately, we are a small squad and I’m not in the position to make major changes. We have to bounce back and quickly.’
