Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, was delighted with his team’s second half display today but not so pleased that the fans booed the players off at half-time.

Speaking to the Official Site, Robins said, ‘ I know we didn’t give the supporters anything to cheer about in the first half but I would prefer it if they got behind us instead of booing at half-time. The crowd got behind us in the second half and it gave us a lift and it was like having a twelfth man.

‘We were like a team transformed in the second half. We passed the ball better and closed Grimsby down.’

Speaking about the goals he said he was delighted that two midfielders were on the scoreboard, ‘and Alex (Rhodes) put in a great cross for Reuben (Reid) and his header was excellent. I was delighted to see Richie come off the bench and score.

‘It was an important win today and now we can go into the game against Leeds and enjoy it.’
