Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, is disappointed at some of the comments after the loss against Stoke City in the Carling Cup fourth round.

Stoke Manager, Tony Pulis, rested some of his first team regulars but, as Robins points out, they still had some ‘big’ players in the side.

‘Stoke fielded Dave Kitson, who cost them £5.5 million,’ he told The Advertiser, ‘and another who cost them one million, Ryan Shawcross from Manchester United and also Seyi Olofinjana. Glenn Whelan and Richard Cresswell are no slouches either. They are the most difficult eleven in the last sixteen we could have played.

‘I am really disappointed with some of the things that’s been written.’
