Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, is set to name his retained list of players, even though the club has not yet officially got a new owner.

In the summer there were eleven new players and most of them remain under contract, Chris O’Grady being among them, although it is thought he will move on, after being the only player not to agree to a wage deferral. But, Robins will want a fee for him.

The Star expects those leaving will include the younger players who haven’t managed to break into the squad.

Out of contract is record breaking appearance stalwart, Paul Hurst, who has spent the last few months at Burton Albion. It is thought that Hursty will hang up his boots this summer and he said on Saturday evening that he would like to work behind the scenes. He has also done some writing for The Advertiser.

Robins will also have to think about Ian Ross who joined on a short term contract in November.
