Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, made six changes on Saturday for the game at Don Valley against Bradford City. In came Marc Joseph, Ryan Taylor, Jamie Green, Peter Holmes and Drewe Broughton as well as on loan goalkeeper, David Stockdale for the injured Andy Warrington. And, although they lost the game, the Millers boss says he thinks the changes were justified.

Speaking to The Star,, Robins said, ‘Nobody wants to lose but there are ways to lose and I think, after Saturday, we can hold our heads up high, something we couldn’t do after the Aldershot game on Tuesday night. The applause from the fans at the end said a lot. They could see we’d given our all. Obviously, we have to start to pick up points now and, if we play like we did on Saturday, we will.

‘It was all about getting the team balanced from the players we had available. I’m not sure how we didn’t win the game because we had enough chances to win four.’
