Rotherham United winger, Alex Rhodes, was one of a number of players Manager, Mark Robins ‘let go’ at the end of the season, and it’s been revealed today that ex Miller, Chris Wilder, has snapped up Rhodes for his Oxford side.

‘I’ve kept track of Alex’s career,’ Wilder told Oxford’s Official Site, ‘and he will give us natural balance, pace, and options on the left.’

Alex promised such a lot when he was signed from Bradford City and in my opinion, we didn’t see enough of what he could do at Rotherham. He played eighteen games scoring two goals for the Millers while he was here.

Vital Rotherham want to wish Alex all the best for his future.
